Birthday Parties Can Only Be Held With A Reservation!
Due to insurance regulations the party ice can be used for skating or hockey it *CAN NOT BE USED FOR BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.* Unless the Cross-Ice Boards are set up then skaters stay on 1 side / hockey on the other. There is an additional cost of $50.00 to set up and take down the boards and this runs into the rented ice hour time. If the ice is used for hockey a minimum of a helmet with cage or ½ shield is required NO EXCEPTIONS. . Other equipment is highly recommended but optional.

LIABILITY: All skaters skate at their own risk, see the PENOBSCOT ICE ARENA WAIVER OF RELEASE OF LIABILITY / ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY on our home page we suggest you view and read it. We have done away with the signing of waivers for all public skaters, birthday parties, and stick and puck sessions. You will now receive a Sticker-Ticket- Waiver at the front counter when entering the rink. The Sticker-Ticket- Waiver is given to persons of all ages, it must be worn during the skate.
